AI and Blockchain-Powered bagyo.app Begins Naga City Pilot as Platform Explores Local Government Integration

New Prontera Technologies Corp. (NPC) launched the early access phase of its disaster resilience platform, bagyo.app, during an event at the Summit Hotel in Naga City on June 18, 2026. The platform aggregates weather data, citizen-sourced distress reports, and artificial intelligence-verified alerts to assist in local disaster preparedness and emergency response.

The event was attended by more than 80 local youth government leaders who participated in a live demonstration of the software. According to the company, the platform is powered by an automated emergency reporting system called Agent A.E.R.I.S.

During the launch, NPC led an interactive demonstration where attendees generated mock emergency reports. The company stated that the system identified the reports using unique blockchain transaction hashes to demonstrate how decentralized technology can be utilized for public record-keeping during calamities.

NPC noted that the application incorporates on-chain reporting and Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proof technology which, the company stated, are features intended to protect citizen identities while maintaining verifiable public data.

The event concluded with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a youth-led disaster resilience initiative.

  • NPC Chief Executive Officer Jared Dillinger and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President Jefson Romeo B. Felix signed the agreement alongside SK chairpersons representing the 27 barangays of Naga City.
  • Under the terms of the MOU, the SK leaders will serve as community correspondents tasked with submitting distress pings during emergencies and promoting platform adoption.

With Naga City as its pilot, Bagyo.app is set to roll out as an open-source & decentralized platform for other Cities throughout the country. Our objective is not to replace, but supercharge disaster relief and resilience through campaigns such as “Bagyo Ka Lang, Naga Kami!” at its core – encouraging social responsibility for the youth to Report, Respond, & Rebuild; Together.

NPC reported that it is currently working with the Naga City Office of the Mayor, the Advanced Naga for Innovation and Good Governance (ANINAG) Council, and the local MyNaga application. The ongoing collaboration aims to assess the integration of bagyo.app into the city’s existing digital infrastructure.

Following the pilot deployment in Naga City, NPC plans to make the decentralized platform open-source for potential adoption by other local government units in the Philippines.
