The additional financing will accelerate the engineering validation and commercial delivery of MAGNE AI BOX, its integration with MAGNE L1 and MHash L2, and the continued development of MAGNE Agent Pay, an agentic payment infrastructure designed to support x402-compatible transactions between AI agents, applications and digital services.

This financing marks the next stage of MAGNE.AI’s development from a Web3-native AI smartphone platform into an integrated infrastructure stack combining edge intelligence, secure hardware, blockchain-based identity and programmable AI-agent payments.

Building an Integrated Edge AI and On-Chain Intelligence Stack

The rapid adoption of generative AI has created growing demand for private, low-latency and locally controlled computing. However, most AI services still depend heavily on centralized cloud infrastructure, creating challenges involving data privacy, response latency, operating costs, service availability and user control over sensitive information.

At the same time, autonomous AI agents increasingly need trusted mechanisms to verify identities, access services, execute instructions and complete payments without relying entirely on centralized intermediaries.

MAGNE.AI is addressing these challenges through an integrated architecture consisting of:

  • MAGNE AI BOX for local model inference, private RAG, multimodal processing and AI-agent execution;
  • MAGNE L1 for device identity, authorization, ownership and trusted on-chain records;
  • MHash L2 for high-frequency agent interactions, coordination, payment routing and settlement;
  • MAGNE Agent Pay for programmable and x402-compatible AI-agent payments;
  • MAGNE.AI smartphones as secure personal access points for local intelligence and decentralized applications.

Together, these components form a unified edge AI, agentic payment and on-chain intelligence stack for personal, enterprise and developer applications.

Use of Funds

The US$2.64 million raised will accelerate MAGNE.AI’s growth across three principal areas:

MAGNE AI BOX Engineering Validation and Commercial Delivery

MAGNE.AI will accelerate the engineering validation, product optimization and commercial delivery of MAGNE AI BOX. Designed as a private edge AI computing device, MAGNE AI BOX enables users and organizations to deploy AI capabilities locally rather than transferring all data and workloads to external cloud providers.

Its core capabilities include:

  • Local large-language-model inference;
  • Private retrieval-augmented generation (RAG);
  • Multimodal data processing;
  • Local knowledge-base management;
  • Private AI-agent execution;
  • Enterprise workflow integration;
  • Secure connectivity with MAGNE.AI devices and blockchain infrastructure.

The platform is intended for individuals, developers and enterprises that require greater privacy, lower latency and stronger control over AI workloads and proprietary data.

Integration With MAGNE L1 and MHash L2

The financing will support deeper integration between MAGNE AI BOX, MAGNE L1 and MHash L2. MAGNE L1 is designed to provide a trusted foundation for device identity, digital ownership, authorization and infrastructure-level records.

MHash L2 is designed to support more frequent and lower-cost interactions, including AI-agent calls, service coordination, task execution, micropayments and settlement activities. This dual-layer architecture allows AI devices and agents to interact through verifiable identities and programmable permissions while keeping high-frequency activity efficient and scalable.

Through this integration, an AI agent operating locally on MAGNE AI BOX may be able to verify its authorization, request an external service, execute a task and settle the associated payment through an on-chain process.

MAGNE Agent Pay and x402-Compatible Payments

MAGNE.AI will also expand the development of MAGNE Agent Pay, its programmable payment and settlement infrastructure for AI agents. As autonomous agents become capable of searching for services, accessing data, coordinating workflows and executing transactions, they require a payment layer that can operate with minimal human intervention while maintaining clear authorization and accountability.

MAGNE Agent Pay is being developed to support:

  • AI-agent-to-agent payments;
  • Machine-to-machine transactions;
  • Usage-based service payments;
  • API and data-access payments;
  • Automated task settlement;
  • Programmable spending permissions;
  • On-chain transaction records;
  • x402-compatible payment interactions.

The objective is to provide AI agents with a payment framework that connects identity, authorization, service access and settlement within one integrated system.

From Web3-Native Smartphones to Edge Intelligence Infrastructure

MAGNE.AI initially established its platform around a Web3-native AI smartphone designed to combine on-device intelligence, hardware-level security and direct access to decentralized infrastructure. The smartphone architecture includes secure execution environments, dedicated secure elements, local AI processing and native connectivity to the MAGNE blockchain ecosystem.

MAGNE AI BOX extends this approach beyond the smartphone. While the smartphone serves as a secure personal interface, MAGNE AI BOX is intended to provide greater local computing capacity for private models, enterprise knowledge bases, multimodal applications and autonomous agents.

Together, the two device categories create a distributed intelligent-device environment:

  • The smartphone acts as a secure identity, interaction and authorization endpoint;
  • MAGNE AI BOX provides local inference and private agent execution;
  • MAGNE L1 provides device identity, ownership and trusted records;
  • MHash L2 coordinates high-frequency agent activity and settlement;
  • MAGNE Agent Pay enables programmable payments between agents, devices and services.

This architecture allows MAGNE.AI to address a wider range of personal and enterprise use cases while maintaining a consistent focus on local intelligence and user-controlled infrastructure.

Challenges Addressed

Data Privacy

Cloud-based AI platforms often require users to upload sensitive documents, communications and business information to third-party infrastructure. MAGNE AI BOX is designed to process models, private knowledge bases and agent workflows locally, helping users retain greater control over their information.

Latency and Availability

AI applications that depend entirely on remote cloud services may be affected by network latency, service interruptions or regional access limitations. Local inference enables selected workloads to continue operating closer to the user and with reduced dependence on constant cloud connectivity.

Agent Identity and Authorization

Autonomous agents need verifiable identities and clear permission boundaries before they can safely access services or initiate transactions. MAGNE L1 is designed to provide the identity and authorization layer connecting users, devices and AI agents.

High-Frequency Coordination

AI-agent workflows may generate frequent calls, service requests and microtransactions that are not suited to expensive or congested base-layer execution. MHash L2 is designed to coordinate these high-frequency activities with improved efficiency.

Programmable Payments

Traditional payment systems were designed primarily for human-initiated transactions rather than autonomous software agents. MAGNE Agent Pay aims to provide programmable payment capabilities for agent-to-agent and machine-to-machine economic activity.

Security and Trust Architecture

Security remains a central component of the MAGNE.AI ecosystem. MAGNE.AI combines secure hardware, local computation and blockchain-based verification to create multiple trust layers across devices and applications.

The architecture is designed to support:

  • Hardware-protected identity credentials;
  • Secure storage and cryptographic signing;
  • Trusted device and agent authorization;
  • Local processing of private data;
  • Verifiable service access;
  • Programmable transaction permissions;
  • Transparent on-chain settlement records.

Rather than relying on a single centralized trust provider, MAGNE.AI distributes trust across secure devices, local intelligence and blockchain infrastructure. This approach is intended to support applications where both privacy and verifiability are required.

Market Opportunity

The expansion of generative AI is driving demand for infrastructure that can bring models and autonomous agents closer to users. Individuals increasingly require private AI assistants capable of working with personal files and sensitive information. Enterprises require AI systems that can access proprietary knowledge without transferring all data to public cloud environments. Developers require infrastructure through which agents can authenticate, call services and settle payments programmatically.

MAGNE.AI is positioning its platform at the intersection of four major technology categories:

  • Edge AI computing;
  • AI-native consumer hardware;
  • Blockchain-based identity and settlement;
  • Autonomous-agent payment infrastructure.

By connecting these categories within one device and network ecosystem, MAGNE.AI aims to provide infrastructure for a new generation of locally executed and economically autonomous AI applications.
